Congressman Barney Frank has been working toward repealing the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) and working toward regulation. “The bill introduction should happen in the next month,” a speaker for House of Representatives Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank said.

According to Reuters, the EU is planning on filing a plaint about U.S. breaking trade decree and supporting the ban. Those that support the ban feel that gambling companies are extracting millions of dollars from the U.S. economy.
