Nevada’s casinos own been officially warned by playing for money regulators of a special application used with iPhones and iTouch devices to help Blackjack players card count. It is very much unlicensed and anyone caught using the application stands to go to jail.
Card counting isn’t illegal in Nevada but using a appropriate device to aid card counting is very much against the formula. Nevada’s Gaming Control Board became aware of the persistency from officials at an Indian Casino. “The program calculates the true count and does it significantly more accurately,” according to a Gaming Control Board memorandum sent to casino operators last week warning of the electronic device.
I own one iTouch and I’m wondering what other fun applications exist. I must look into that….
