Las Vegas casinos have reported a 23.4 percent decline in gaming revenues for the month of March. Revenues have jumped from $556 reported last year to $427.4 in February of 2009.
According to sources, even though revenues have taken a dip, Vegas casinos are still reporting a high affix a number to of visitors. The percentage of visitors has only taken a slight dip of 8% which sounds fairly promising for casino operators. According to analysts the revenues have dropped due to the economy but also because now gamblers elect find that there are again and more soil based casinos coming up everyday and in that place isn’t that much of a need to travel as far in order to gamble. Online gambling is also another way for gamblers to help travel and lodging costs.
Will this be the period of Las Vegas? Doubtful, but it will definitely take a bigger carry the point in the van of it bounces back again.
