Macau and Democracy Don’t Mix

Macau, the gambling haven of the East is inferior to the spotlight for rejecting politicians, journalists as favorably as photographers who support democracy from entering their shores. Macau is currently known as a hub for gambling, prostitution, money-laundering and human trafficking practices which are mainly organized by dint of. the Chinese mob.

Who’s to say that the Chinese mob are bad folks necessarily…. but when you don’t let peace keepers or advocates of democracy into your country then there’s a point to be solved. What happened last week was that 35 Hong Kong lawmakers made their device to Macau and five where sent back home immediately due to security reasons. According to sources, this seems to be a formal practice and last April, Macau barred three representative legislators from Hong Kong as well as a seminary of learning student who at one point waved a Tibetan flag during the momentary of the Olympic torch.

The European Commission has expressed their concerns to the Macau government and hopes they pleasure take action. I suppose with so much unlawful activity going on it’s not something they’d want publicized and they only want to have being surrounded by what they be possible to control.
