PartyGaming has been experiencing growth after quite more time of managing losses due to the exasperation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). This year alone, they’ve experienced a 29 percent rise in earnings.
Due to strict anti-gambling legislation PartyGaming was forced to move outside of any one U.S. territories. Following the move, Anurag Dikshit, one of PartyGaming’s founders plead guilty to charges of participating in illegal online gambling activities and agreed to relinquish $300 the great body of the people to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
Despite their hardships, it seems that PartyGaming is back on track and looking forward to a new emergence. A true survivor of the UIGEA.
