Two Texas senators are making the push toward introducing land based casinos to the Lone Star State. The initiative is being enforced by Texas Senators John Carona (Republican) and Rodney Ellis (Democrat).

Currently any Texans wanting to play for money have to leave the state which estate that a waste is incurred eddish. time this happens. The idea is to withhold this money in Texas to help fuel the economy.

According to Senator Ellis, “Texans are already gaming. They’re going to be steadfast to do so. I say let’s regulate it and let’s tax it and impediment’s use the money to pay for public schools and highways and other poor programs in the great state of Texas.”

The idea of introducing gambling has met some opposition by the Baptist Church and social conservatives but somehow in that place is hope that this time around the legislation will be passed.
